• BTU SIAM Student Chapter Pi Day Event

The Pi day event organised by the SIAM Student Chapter of the BTU Mathematics Department was held on Wednesday, 11 March at 13:00, featuring a lecture by Prof. Dr. Kadri Arslan, Head of the Geometry Section of the Mathematics Department at Bursa Uludag University, entitled "Planar Curves and Rotational Surface Models".

• Bursa Technical University SIAM Student Chapter Event

As part of SIAM Student Chapter events, all interested are invited to attend the seminar titled "Physics Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) for Fluid Mechanics", which will be presented by  Research Assistant Serkan Ayan.

This event will address how artificial neural networks guided by physics knowledge are used in solving fluid mechanics problems and will share current application examples.

At the promotional event organised by the SIAM Student Chapter of Bursa Technical University, information will be provided about SIAM's objectives, the academic and professional opportunities it offers to students, and Student Chapter activities.

As part of the event, our department academics will be speakers; they will give short presentations on current work in the field of applied mathematics.

All students interested in applied mathematics and related fields are invited.
