The introductory event organized by SIAM Student Chapter at Bursa Technical University was held on 24 December 2025 by SIAM Student Chapter founder Research Assistant Gökçen Dilaver Tunç and faculty advisors Prof. Dr. Fatih Say and Prof. Dr. Nil Orhan Ertaş. 

In this introductory event, the information about SIAM's objectives, the academic and professional opportunities it offers to students, and the activities of the Student Chapter were discussed. As part of the event our department academics participated as speakers and gave short presentations on current work in the field of applied mathematics.
